Ira Green is the Pitmaster of Flying G Barbecue which has been competing for 12 years in a variety of barbecue competition cook-offs.

Along the cooking trail, he has met numerous friends that have now become his extended family and also has been blessed to receive multiple trophies and accolades for his barbecue prowess.   

Meeting and marrying the love of his life, Amanda Green, and becoming a father to their 4-year-old daughter Quinn has been the biggest accomplishment and blessing on this BBQ journey.
